• Randwick Art Society Inc has been offered an art exhibition at the Lionel Bowen Library at Maroubra. As there is limited space available at the Library, we therefore have to limit the number of paintings to (1) for each financial member. We will only be able to display approx. 36 artworks, so please follow the instructions in the Conditions of Entry by sending in a jpeg file of your artwork.

• We are not able to sell artwork at the Library. We will be utilizing our new online gallery to display  the work in the exhibition.

• Art Challenges artwork from 2021 on Television Screen in Library Many members contributed to the monthly Art Challenges in 2021 on our website during the lockdown. The Committee would like to showcase the wonderful work that has been sent in, and we have the opportunity to use the television screen in the Library wall. If anyone who has work on the website and does not wish for their work to be displayed, please advise us.

TIMELINE

• 10 June 2022 Email sent to members requesting (1) artwork jpeg file and entry form.

• 17 June 2022 Final day for submissions by online www.randwickartsocietyinc.com

• Or manual entry form by email randwickartsocietyinc@gmail.com

• 20 – 27 June 2022 Selection of entries.

• 24 July 2022 Members advised by email of selected artists.

• Finalists with artwork will be put on RAS website.

• 2 August 2022 Selected artists to bring artwork to: Library between 10am – 12 noon

• 5 August 2022 Exhibition opens.

• 25 September 2022 Exhibition closes.

• 26 September 2022 Pickup artwork from: Library 10am – 12 noon.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY TO EXHIBITION

​

• Entry is only open to FINANCIAL MEMBERS.  No Charge

• Identification: Clearly labelled on the BACK with Artist’s Name, Title of work.

• Number:1 work only. There is no charge for entry.

• Size: Maximum size should be a total perimeter of 287cm (around 4 sides) including frame.

• Medium: Painting, Drawing, Mixed Media, Watercolour, Ink, Photography.

• Presentation: All artworks must be dry, clean, tidy, undamaged, suitably framed ready for hanging, flat canvases to be framed, other canvases to be painted around all sides. D. Rings only attached approx. 10cm from top of frame.                         

• Entries: All works must be the recent (last 12 months) original work of artist. 

• File: (1) Jpeg file of artwork to be sent with entry form.

• Artworks will not be available for sale. RAS information will be available.

• All care taken but no responsibility accepted by Randwick Art Society Inc. for any damage or loss.

• Committee has authority to decline acceptance of any entry not complying with above conditions.
