​"A PICTURE PAINTS A THOUSAND WORDS"

​

• Randwick Art Society Inc has been offered an art exhibition at the
  Lionel Bowen Library at Maroubra. As there is limited space available
  at the Library, we therefore have to limit the number of paintings to 2
  for each financial member. We will only be able to display approx.
  50 artworks, so please follow the instructions in the Conditions of Entry
  by sending in a jpeg file of your artwork.

• We are not able to sell artwork at the Library. Artists will be notified of
  any interest of buyers.

 

TIMELINE​

• 2 July 2026: bring artwork to Library between10am – 12 noon

• 4 July 2026: Exhibition opens

• 30 July 2026: Exhibition closes

• 31 July 2026: Pickup artwork from Library 10am – 12 noon.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY TO EXHIBITION

​

• Entry is only open to FINANCIAL MEMBERS. 

• Cost is $10 per artwork

• Identification: Clearly labelled on the BACK with Artist’s Name and Title of work.

• Size: Maximum size should be a total perimeter of 287cm (around 4 sides) including frame.

• Medium: Painting, Drawing, Mixed Media, Watercolour, Ink, Photography.

• Presentation: All artworks must be dry, clean, tidy, undamaged, suitably framed ready for hanging, flat canvases to be framed, other canvases to be painted around all sides. D. Rings only attached approx. 10cm from top of frame.                         

• Entries: All works must be the recent (last 12 months) original work of artist. 

• File: (1) Jpeg file of each artwork to be sent with entry form.

• Artworks will not be available for sale. RAS information will be available and enquiries sent to artist.

• All care taken but no responsibility accepted by Randwick Art Society Inc. for any damage or loss.

• Committee has authority to decline acceptance of any entry not complying with above conditions.
